Ruth's Story I have been getting “The Word For Today” for a number of years and always read about the radio stations but never listened much. After my mum died in 2017 it was very difficult for me and I called on God like never before. I turned off the TV because I knew I would just mindlessly watch it instead of facing my grief. That’s when I started listening to the radio, but not Rhema. It wasn’t until about a year ago, a year into my cancer diagnosis, that I was led to switch to Rhema. I didn’t listen much, as I was not well with very tough chemo. Plus, my sister and sister-in-law were living with me. It was during my second chemotherapy, when the chemo was much gentler so I was up and about and could live on my own, that I started really listening to Rhema. Now I never have Rhema off and listen to the midday teaching programmes and again at night. I am learning so much and am at peace, ready to go home. Rhema has so impacted me, especially in the last few months. The “Chucks”, Joyce Meyer, the Focus On The Family hour... I feel so blessed to have turned to Rhema. I love all the announcers, their banter, jokes, knowledge of Christian things... oh, just everything. I have so much to learn and sometimes feel my time is running out but I shudder to think what my life would be like without Christ and our Father. Rhema, thank you for helping me in my journey of faith.
