Tēnā koe e hoa (Greetings, hello to you friend),
You are making a significant difference in the lives of so many people across Aotearoa, New Zealand as God uses your Christian media ministry to bring peace and hope into lives, like Margaret:
‘Life FM... you really you don’t know how many people’s lives you have changed. God’s words are light in the dark, antidepressant in depression, lifetime friend in loneliness. If I didn’t have God in my life I would have killed myself a long time ago. Thanks Life FM for encouraging and praying, reaching to those who are in need, sick sad and lonely.’
Thank you for enabling messages of faith, hope, and love to reach people like Margaret. This is only possible through your prayer and financial support.
Your Christian media ministry’s purpose is to draw New Zealanders into an increasingly meaningful, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It does this through radio, television, print and digital media.
So far 2020, and the beginning of the new decade, has been a turbulent one both in New Zealand and around the world. The pandemic, the economic ramifications of the response to the pandemic, race tensions, political debates and earthquakes have all come one on top of another. For some this has led to confusion, fear, anxiety, and despair. At the same time good things are happening, and many people are doing great work caring for each other.
But even before I was born, God chose me and called me by his marvellous grace. Galatians 1:15
Through it all, the focus of your Christian media ministry’s broadcasts remains the same. To encourage an increasingly meaningful, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The programming includes news and interviews, praise and worship, prayer, teaching, and encouragement, as well as fun and entertainment.
Thank you for making this possible, through your ongoing prayer and financial support your Christian media ministry continues to reach into homes, cars, and workplaces right across New Zealand. Even in these uncertain financial times it is a blessing to have your support to engage over 400,000 people every week, with messages of faith, peace, hope and love that draw them closer to Jesus Christ.
As the country settles back into a more normal way of life, attention begins to turn to the general election later this year. As in the past your Christian media ministry’s audiences will be encouraged to prayerfully consider the options before us all, and to vote. The election programming will culminate with a day of prayer across Rhema, Star, Life FM and Shine TV on Friday 18th September, the day before the election.
Thank you for your continued support. You make it possible for your Christian media ministry to continue to broadcast God’s love to this nation, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year.
‘And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it.’ Matthew 24:14 (NLT)
PS: Thank you for your prayer in support of the Rhema and Star annual appeal. This was an important time of sharing Rhema Media’s purpose with the wider audience and encouraging others to join in keeping this vital Christian media ministry financially sound. So that more people will be drawn into an increasingly meaningful, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
